Please note that all passport and attestation appointments at the German Embassy Islamabad from 1 September 2014 onwards can only be booked online. Please make sure that you book an appointment in the correct category as wrongly booked appointments will not be honored. 

Appointments cannot be made via phone or e-mail.

Please note that the German Diplomatic Missions in Pakistan have not outsourced visa application services to any private service provider/travel agent.  Offers by agents shall be critically examined as there is no such requirement.

No-shows will be monitored and if necessary registered.

For submission of a visa application at the German Consulate General Karachi no appointments are necessary, clients will be served on a first come, first served basis.


In accordance with WHO guidelines and government of Pakistan regulations, persons asking for a visa at this embassy and consulate General have to present a valid proof of vaccination against polio. 

The vaccination needs to be older than four weeks. The proof has to be submitted in form of a valid International Certificate for Vaccination.
No National long term visa will be issued without proof of vaccination AND submission of a provided declaration form (can be found in the download box on the subpages).
