iMOVE (International Marketing of Vocational Education)

iMOVE is an initiative by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to internationalize German vocational education and training services. iMOVE offers German providers of vocational education and training a wide range of services to help them penetrate international markets.

"Training - Made in Germany": this the slogan iMOVE uses abroad to advertise German expertise in vocational education and training.

GIZ (former InWEnt & DED)

InWEnt –Capacity Building International, Germany, is now part of the GIZ (the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH) and has been active worldwide in human resource development, advanced training and dialogue. InWEnt/GIZ works together with people in key positions, assisting them in shaping processes of change in their own countries. 

The German Development Service (DED) also has become a part of the GIZ. DED/GIZ is one of the leading European development services for personnel cooperation. It was founded in 1963: since then more than 16 000 development workers have committed themselves to improve the living conditions of people in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The DED/GIZ also offers its services to international clients. However, it is not active in Pakistan.

BIBB - Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training

The Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) is recognised as a centre of excellence for vocational research and for the progressive development of vocational education and training (VET) in Germany. BIBB works to identify future challenges in VET, stimulate innovation in national and international vocational systems, and develop new, practiceoriented solutions for both initial and continuing vocational education and training.
