Longstanding relations
Sometimes one comes across realtionships one didn't even know they existed. Such is the case with Publisher M/S Paramount Books and Frankfurt Bookfair. Paramount Books has been visiting the fair since 1973. Chief Executive, Mr. Iqbal S. Muhammad, actually claims to be the first Pakistani ever visiting this internationally unmatched exhibition. „We come to Frankfurt every year and are planning to increase our presence to three stalls in 2011“ the Deputy Managing Director and son of CE, Mr. Salahuddin Iqbal, explains.
The Press & Cultural Department of the German Consulate Karachi, represented by Mrs. Gudrun Haider, Vice Consul for Press, Culture and Education and Mr. Ali R. Akhtar, Press & Public Relations Officer, visited the offices and bookshop of M/S Paramount Books in Karachi on June 30, 2010.
The German Consulate General Karachi and M/S Paramount Books intend to continue and intensify the friendly bilateral relations by finding further areas and possibilities of collaboration.
