Hochbaugesellschaft Sankt Albertus Bauhütte (HSAB), Berlin/Germany
This building company has been created 1989 after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Before this date the employees of the HSAB worked for the Administration of the Berlin Bishop by building and restorating churches and other diocesan houses. The HSAB has obtained 2007 from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs the mission to fulfill building activities on the territory of the German General Consulate in Karachi/Pakistan. At this opportunity Werner Sygnecki - the Managing Director of the HSAB - took contact to the sister Dr. Ruth Pfau and created a relief organisation in the Berlin region in order to help projects of the MALC. On the 8th of March 2010 Dr. Ruth Pfau will be able to look back on 50 years dedication for hope and human dignity in Pakistan.
On the occasion of the imminent distinction of her self-forgetting lifework by the Government of Pakistan, the managing staff of the HSAB has decided to accompany this celebration by young German musicians. Costs will be paid by the HSAB. A small choir of the parish St. Georg Hoppegarten will also make a contribution to this festivity.
