Charity Concert at the German Consulate General
On Nov. 27, 2010, the German Consulate General organised a musical concert with the German pianist Andreas Kern and the Pakistani guitar player Aamir Zaki and his band Spoonful. At the event donations of about 1.4 Million Rupees for the flood victims to withstand the upcoming winter cold were collected from the 300 guests present.
We are especially grateful to the following companies which contributed through major donations: World Wide Group (WWG) Partner of the DB Schenker Network, Adamjee Automotive (Bosch & Turbo Systems), BASF Pakistan and Merck Pakistan.

The event was a huge success in terms of the superb musical skills displayed by Andrea Kern and Aamir Zaki as well as in consideration of th flood victims. The money will go to the Association of Humanitarian Development (AHD) for tents and blankets and the Indus Resource Center (IRC) for children's winter clothing.
On December 3, Vice Consul Mrs. Gudrun Haider presented collected cheques and cash to Mrs. Sadiqa Salahuddin of IRC.
