Book launching ceremony at the German Embassy
In his book titled "At the Shrine of the Red Sufis - Five Days and Nights on Pilgrimage in Pakistan", Germany's leading expert on Sufism, Jürgen W. Frembgen, describes his experiences in this pilgrimage.
The author launched his book on Thursday, 24 March 2011 at the German Embassy Islamabad by reading out some passages from his book and showing scenes of the documentary "The Red Sufi" by Martin Weinhart. Jürgen W. Frembgen is Chief Curator of the Oriental Department at the Museum of Ethnology in Munich and a Lecturer of Islamic Studies at the University of Munich.
