Inauguration of PFSA Mock Crime Scene Training Facility

In a joint donor event on December 14th, 2015, the German Ambassador Ms. Ina Lepel, the Head of the European Union Delegation, Ambassador Jean-François Cautain, and the British High Commissioner Philip Barton participated in the inauguration of the new mock crime scene training facility at the Punjab Forensic Science Agency in Lahore. The training facility was developed by the ‘Criminal Investigative Services (CIS)’, a project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and implemented by GIZ. The facility was inaugurated in memory of the late Home Minister Shuja Khanzada by his son, MPA Mr. Jahangir Khanzada, who attended the ceremony as the Guest of Honour.

An Illuminating Journey to the City of the Light Hearted

In October a group of young tribal students went on their first-ever visit to the cultural capital of Pakistan, Lahore. The young people from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) were overwhelmed by the verve of the provincial metropolis, reflecting their impressions in the enthusiastic observations made during their stay.


Change Agents for a better tax culture

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in cooperation with the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) carried out an event to create change agents amongst students for a better tax culture in Pakistan. The event is part of a campaign called “Banaey Naujawan Behter Pakistan” (The youth will make a better Pakistan).


Pakistan launches first ever TVET policy

On 4 March 2015 the Government of Pakistan launched the first ever National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) policy document and the National Vocational Qualifications Framework (NVQF) in Pakistan, which will improve the quality of skills’ training in the country.
