Cooperation with St. Sarah’s School
German Consulate General in Karachi supports school project - Inauguration of newly-renovated St. Sarah’s School
The newly-renovated St. Sarah’s School in Korangi was inaugurated by Mr. Martin Loetzer, Consul, German Consulate General Karachi, and Assistant District Governor Rtn. Mustansir Bandukwala, on Nov. 21st, 2011.
The school now has a new look with expansion of the premises to add 5 more class rooms and a computer lab. A new office has been build for the principal of the school and 2 new toilets have been built for the 150 children. The entire building has been painted, with installation of new light and fan fittings. An electric water cooler has been installed with its own fiber-glass overhead tank, a water pump and stabilizer. A computer and printer have been provided for the office, along with twenty new desks and benches for the classrooms.
This project, which started in June 2011, has been made possible through the German Consulate General's Micro-Project-Scheme providing the neccessary funds; the Adamjee Foundation; the Adamjee Welfare Trust; and many friends of RCKSM.
