The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Christian Brecht, and Rear Admiral (R) Sajjad Akbar, Chairman DSRA Educational & Welfare Trust, signed an agreement on 03.11.2010 for German financial support through which an extension of the premises of a Free English Medium School for the deprived community will be funded. Others present at the meeting were Mr. Martin Lötzer, Vice Consul for Trade & Economic Affairs, and Mr. S.M. Hasan Imam, Member Board of Trustees, DSRA Educational & Welfare Trust.
This project, worth Rs. 925,000.--, is being funded by the German Consulate General Karachi within the framework of its Micro-Project-Scheme.
The DSRA Educational & Welfare Trust Karachi, is running a free English Medium School for the deprived community with 180 students and has been active in the field of charity for the last 7 years trying to improve the social and econimical situation of the under priviledged children.
