German Consulate General in Karachi supports school repair and renovation project

Nov. 2011: Representatives of the German Consulate General Karachi visited the newly-renovated Dr. Hanne Glodny School at the Afghan Refugee Camp near the Northern Bypass, Karachi.
In April 2011, the school received 2 million Pakistani Rupees by the German Government as funding support for an overall renovation of the school which had been severly damaged by the floods in 2010.
In December 2010, Dr. Hanne Glodny, the founder of the school had been awarded the Pope Sylvester Medal for her continuous engagement for the poor and needy in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
