German Consulate General in Karachi supports school repair and renovation project

In April 2011, the school received 2 million Pakistani Rupees by the German Government as funding support for an overall renovation of the school which had been severly damaged by the floods in 2010.

In December 2010, Dr. Hanne Glodny, the founder of the school had been awarded the Pope Sylvester Medal for her continuous engagement for the poor and needy in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

In December 2010, Dr. Hanne Glodny, the founder of the Dr. Hanne Glodny Afghan School in Karachi was awarded the German Pope Sylvester Medal for her continuous engagement for the poor and needy in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
