Long-term visas
German travel documents are issued centrally by the Federal Printing Office (Bundesdruckerei) in Berlin and sent by Diplomatic pouch to the missions abroad. Hence, it takes a few weeks until your passport can be handed over to you. Therefore, we recommend to apply for the passport in due time.

You want to study in Germany and need attested copies of your documents?
If you want to apply at a German university and need attested copies of your school / university certificates, please call one of the following numbers for appointment:

Please submit your original certificates along with corresponding copies (no cross attestation by the HEC Pakistan required) and your passport.
In order to obtain one set of certified documents for free, please establish proof of your intention to study in Germany, e.g. by submitting a copy of an e-mail of the German university.
If you reside in or close to Lahore, please contact our Honorary Consul Mr. Rehman for an attestation of your certificates.
