We want to make your arrival in Germany as easy as possible. Here you can find all the information and requirements you need while applying for a visa, along with application forms to download as a pdf-file.

Pakistani citizens have to obtain a visa before entering the so-called "Schengen states":

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
(Please note: Although Bulgaria, Romania, Cyprus, Ireland and the UK belong to the EU, they are presently not member of the Schengen Agreement).

"Schengen visas" are short-term visas for stays up to 90 days within a period of 6 months. Although visas issued by one of the above mentioned states are valid for all other Schengen states, you need to apply at the embassy or consulate of the country which is your main destination.

Residents of Sindh and Balouchistan need to apply at the Consulate General Karachi.
Residents of the other provinces and areas in Pakistan should apply at the German Embassy Islamabad.
