The Embassy supports people with disabilities and makes every effort to facilitate access for visitors, visa and passport applications within the building confines.
The visa section and its waiting area are accessible, however the restroom can only be accessed via one step. Our staff in the entrance area is willing to assist you with access anytime. The passport section is unfortunately not accessible for wheelchairs due to several steps. However, passport applicants and visitors of the consular section can also be received in the accessible visa section. Please contact us beforehand by mail or phone to let us know.
The main building of the Embassy as well as the residence of our Ambassador are unfortunately not accessible due to building confines, but visitors can be welcomed in our accessible waiting area. There is no structural or technical support for blind or visually impaired people. However, our staff in the entrance area is happy to assist you anytime.
In the planning process of our new building we have carefully attended to the needs of people with disabilities: After the reconstruction is completed, the chancery, the office of the Ambassador, the meeting rooms and the residence will be accessible.
